At Read House there are regular social activities and pastimes organised by our Activities
Co-ordinator and residents are encouraged to maintain their interests and hobbies, as well as taking up new ones.

A varied programme of activities is organised in discussion with Residents to ensure their interests are met.

A number of small lounges are available throughout the Home for socialising with other Residents or entertaining guests.

Read House has a policy of open visiting and we encourage involvement from family and friends.

Residents making cakes

(My aunt) was very happy there; your staff were always so attentive and tried to involve her in the various activities – activities which, so other residents told me, were far more numerous and interesting than those available in other care homes.
